Hoopsfest was a success, and based on Kathy's journal entry, the primary goal of lifting the Yates' sprits was accomplished.  There have been many incredible acts of kindness aimed at the Yates family since the diagnosis, and no act is more impactful or more important than another. Cooking a meal, raising money, donating money, providing help around their home, or saying a prayer all create collective waves of emotion and inspiration that help the family fight another day.  We are leaving the go fund me open in case someone somewhere comes across the story and chooses to help.  For all that have partipated in any way, know it is greatly appreciated.  If you have a question, feel free to tap on the green button below and you will be able to send us an email.
