Skills Camp
Everyone knows Dave has a passion for basketball at all ages, and we want to recognize that passion by hosting grade specific skills camps in the South Gym throughout the day. We have some of the best in class instructors who have agreed to share their time and expertise with our future stars. Each session will cost $35 which includes a t-shirt, and last around 60 minutes so tell your kids to show up ready to work hard.

Do not wait until the day of to join a camp! We have a limited amount of space for each session and the camp will be pre-paid to avoid lines and delays on the day of the event. We will send a separate email to you prior to the day of the event with final instructions.

THESE CAMPS ARE FOR BOYS AND GIRLS

Courtney Ludois
Record Holder and 9 year Fremd coach
Coach Ludois has been a member of Coach Yates staff for 9 years. She has played a pivitol role at multiple levels and is skilled in developing raw talent into basketball skill.
Prior to coaching and mentoring many players that have come through the Fremd system, Coach Ludois was the number 1 3-point shooter in the nation during her time at Hononegah High School . This success led to her being a 4 year member of the Marquette Golden Eagles basketball team.

Coach Ludois was recently named the Head Coach of Hersey High School, and while this news is not great for Viking Nation, it is great to see that Coach Yates influence is spreading and planting new roots in the Illinois Basketball Community.

Haley Gorecki
This Bio needs its own website
It is safe to say that Coach Yates and Haley Gorecki are forever linked as the faces of Fremd Women's basketball.
Her Fremd career speaks for itself, culminating in being named Illinois Miss Basketball, and Gatorade Illinois Player of the Year. Haley continued her amazing career as a Duke Blue Devil. Her accomplishments while there include:

-
Reached 1,000 points in only 77 games becoming the 10th quickest Blue Devil to do so
-
Became the eighth-quickest Blue Devil to notch 1,300 points in only 94 career games
-
Became the first Blue Devil to lead their team in points (17.2), rebounds (7.1) and assists (3.9)
-
The only power five conference player nationally to average over 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals
-
Seventh player in ACC history to lead their team in scoring rebounding and assists
-
led Duke in scoring 39 times, assists 22 times and rebounds 11.

What stands out to me is Haleys impact in all aspects of the game, including her leadership and grit. This list is a small sample of what she accomplished, and she did it all while battling several serious injuries.

Needless to say Haley is an amazing addition to our group of Skills Camp coaches and we appreciate her support of the event.
